	2004: Climate Control for London Office Building: PPT Drive Systems supplied and commissioned Telemecanique ATV38 drives rated 30kW and 11kW for Supply and Extract Fan control in the basement of the City HQ of a major international insurance and investment organisation. The drives were integrated with the existing BMS and fire control systems.
	2004: Hydraulic Pump Services: PPT Drive Systems supplied replacement Voith Turbo IPH hydraulic pumps for injection moulding machine application at an East Midlands automotive industry company. PPT also offers refurbishment and spare parts services for this brand of pump.
	2004: Telecoms Centre Energy Savings. Qty. 12 Telemecanique Altivar 38 IP55 Enclosed variable speed drives rated between 30kW and 75kW supplied and installed by PPT Drive Systems in Central London telephone exchange for a major international telecoms provider for application on chilled water and river water pumps. Average energy savings of 38% achieved.
	2004: PPT provide Emergency Drive Repair: Following failure of a critical fan drive at a Midlands paint plant, PPT Drive Systems provided immediate on-site service for an ABB ACS607 drive rated at 315kW. Due to the swift response, the site avoided any penalties that may have been incurred due to increased plant emissions.
	2004: Contract secured for PLC and Drives equipment for Midlands Further Education College: PPT Drive Systems supplied and installed 11 training desks including Schneider Electric Premium PLC's, Magelis "Touch & Click" colour HMI's, & ATV58 drives, linked via Ethernet comms. Also supplied were conveyors featuring intelligent sensors and ASi comms.
	2004: High Torque Drive for Tyre Recycling Plant: A 160kW ATV68 drive with line choke & rfi filter was supplied by PPT Drive Systems for the main motor in a machine that separates the steel banding from the rubber at an East Anglian tyre recycling facility. Reclaimed granulated rubber is used for applications such as all weather sports surfaces, whilst the steel is recycled.
	2003: Constant Pressure Pump Energy Savings: 7 Telemecanique ATV38 drives, 4..11kW, using in-built PI-control and Nautilus pressure sensors supplied and installed by PPT for a West Midlands automotive component manufacturer. Previous adjustment was by manual valves. As well as making control automatic, energy savings >55% were achieved.
	2003: Variable Speed Drives provides Smooth Crane Control: PPT Drive Systems supplied & commissioned a 15kW Telemecanique ATV58 drive with a matched 3.8kW brake resistor as part of a 20t crane refurbishment project at a West Midlands metals company. The existing joy-stick controller and hoist motor were re-used making the upgrade very cost effective.
	2003: Health & Fitness Clubs Energy Saving: Qty. 71 Telemecanique Altivar 38 variable speed drives rated between 5.5kW and 30kW supplied by PPT Drive Systems for a well known national health and fitness club group for application on swimming pool and gym AHU supply and extract fans. Average energy savings of between >25% achieved.
	2003: Automotive Component Manufacturer Energy Saving. Telemecanique Altivar 38/68 variable speed drives rated at 75kW and 132kW supplied and installed by PPT Drive Systems for an East Midlands manufacturer on paint plant extraction fans resulting in investment paybacks of between 6 and 17 months.
	2003: Drives provide superior Torque Protection: A solution replacing destructive shear pins for an East Midlands castings firm was provided by PPT Drive Systems. A Telemecanique ATV58 drive and a Zelio programmable controller provides extremely accurate torque control. Maintenance costs from conveyor down-time have been virtually eliminated by the electronic system.
	2002: Foundry Saves Energy: 3 x 250kW Telemecanique drives with matched Leroy Somer EFF1 motors, supplied & installed by PPT Drive Systems for controlling extract fans in East Midlands foundry. System replaced life-expired slip-ring motors/starters. Although average speed reduction was only 10%, project payback months was still achieved!
	2002: Variable Speed Drive System for Potato Washing Plant: PPT Drive Systems supplied a 45kW drive control panel complete with PLC and auxiliary motor controls to a centrifuge manufacturer for application at a potato processing plant in Eastern England. The centrifuge load benefited from the high torque capabilities of the Telemecanique ATV58 drive.
	2002: F1 Racing Car Team Wind Tunnel Drives: PPT Drive Systems supplied 75kW and 250kW variable speed drive control panels to a UK fan OEM for application in the control of the wind tunnel at a landmark research establishment. The control panels required a special paint finish in line with other equipment.

Energy savings of between 41% & 77% achieved.

Qty. 6 Telemecanique Altivar 58 IP55 Enclosed variable speed drives rated between 15kW and 45kW supplied by PPT Drive Systems for a West Midlands office furniture manufacturer for application on production area extract fans. Energy savings of between 39% and 71% achieved.
	2001: School Saves Running Costs of Swimming Pool Circulation Pumps: PPT Drive Systems supplied and installed two 5.5kW IP55 ATV58E drives at a Midlands comprehensive school. There was no capital outlay for the school with the project being funded over 3 years entirely out of the energy savings achieved!
	2001: Energy Saving for Midlands Packaging Company: Energy savings >60% achieved by applying a Telemecanique Altivar 58E drive to a cardboard machine scrap extract fan motor rated 30kW. An IP55 enclosed drive replaced the existing star-delta starter in this dusty environment. Due to the success of this application, 3 more drive units have been ordered.
